MISSION STATEMENT

Soul Care Charities seeks to be the hand God uses to administer care to people of all walks of life by developing, initiating, and supporting sustainable philanthropic community development efforts, through humanitarian services and empowerment that touch even the soul of those receiving the care!.

ABOUT US

Soul Care Charities is an outreach program (Community Development corporation “CDC”) with the

community, city, state, and world in mind. As a ministry of Soul Winners Church, it is a “serve with no

strings attached” ministry, whose priority is to be the hand of God assisting and administering caring aid in and to the lives of countless individuals in need. We realize that everyone has different needs. Therefore, it is our aim to be multifaceted in that which we provide. SCC goes beyond the barriers of race, religion, sex, generation, economic status, and the like, to be the helping hand to all people, of all walks of life. The goal with SCC service isn’t growth in church attendance, but community transformation and community influence.

1. House Hunters (House repair for families in need 1 to 3 a year)

2. Area revitalization (tree planting, lawn mowing, cleanup, recycling, beautification projects)

OUR FUNDING

Because SCC is a philanthropic humanitarian service, it is imperative that it have 501c(3) status.

This status gives our donors the ability to donate and receive recognition from the IRS for their

generous contributions. This status will also allow SCC to pursue federal grants and the various types of assistance afforded to non-for profit organizations by the government.  However, we will not rely specifically on making request for donations to SCC. There are 2 other ways that SCC will be funded with other creative ways being established:

1. Annual Soul Care Charities Banquet

     a. Honoring Donors

     b. Honoring volunteers

     c. Receiving more donor commitments

2. Soul Winners Church will give a Tithe of it's income to Soul Care Charities

Any other methods to glean support will be discussed and decided upon by the SCC Chief
